The crab gave me his headphones but now they're gone!

I was in I believe Northwest Passage. Walking by a crab, he asked if I wanted to play him a tune and I did. He gave me his CrabPod Headphones. I saw them in my inventory, but when I went back to look a minute later they were gone!

• As far as I can remember, the crab always takes back the headphones after the tune. The only way to keep the headphones is to walk away or stop the convo midway (don't play the tune or something). Sorry, can't remember the details. :p
