Missing Ix Style Braised Beef

I had placed a few hundred Ix Style Braised Beef in my bags for donation purposes. I used a hundred and fifty or so and had at least another 100 in one of my bags but when I logged in today those bags were empty. I know I didn't accidentally donate them because I didn't get a message from the shrine about exceeding my daily XP. I just went home to look through all my bags and did not find them anywhere. Is there any way to check if they actually disappeared or if I'm just going crazy and having short term memory loss =P
