Glitchmas Yeti

I know we are to be reset sometime and lose everything again, but please, please, pretty please, could I keep my Glitchmas Yeti? Pretty pretty please? I will give up my house and animals and everything again, but please let me keep the Yeti!

  • Yeah, I was wondering about that. It would be great if they'd let everyone who had a yeti keep it even when the game goes live. It would be a great thank you for the alpha testers.

  • I would actually prefer a badge, I'm scared of accidentally donating my yeti duing a laggy spell.

  • ^ Or, make the yeti non-donatable & non-givable (but still auctionable)!

  • stoot said the idea is that they'll survive resets

  • I am just afraid it will be missed if I move houses, and I don't want to carry it with me (see eglantine's comment about accidental donation). If we could put it on our trophy cases, or if some other home fixture for conveyable goods (tchotchke box, gewgawmidor? ) could be created, that would be great. Then you could move and know it would always go with you.

  • We are going to see about letting it go into trophy cases (so you don't have to worry about packing it when you move) and also ensuring that it does not get lost in resets. HOWEVER, should we ever decide, for the sake of expediency, to wipe them along with everything else, it would not be hard for us to restore them to their rightful owners.

  • Oh, thank you Stoot, I would really love to keep it. Happy New Year from the UK (nearly) and Best Wishes for lots of Glitch from now on!

  • Hooray!

  • Oh hah, I already gave mine to a shrine because I figured it would get reset away anyway.

  • ^^^ Same as clare... Kind of sad now because we could have kept them :(

  • I didn't know when I started playing that it was limited edition, so I donated it to a shrine as well. Here's hoping for a beta gift!

  • I somehow ended up with two, even though I didn't buy one or pick one up or anything. I will be accepting in-game bribery.

  • I've got two as well, but that's because I found one on the ground. I'll accept bribes for 1 less currant than Helcat will allow :)

  • I happen to know that Alsaris' yeti is refurbished. But, I'm sure it's just as good as my pristine untouched brand new one still in its shiny unopened cellophane wrapper. Just as good, yes indeed.

  • What is the yeti for? It would be nice to keep it just to show we supported the game before it was open to the public. Maybe we could hang it outside of our house?

  • aw.. I think I donated mine for same reason, assumed it would disappear in a reset.

  • It would be great to be able to keep all of our skills and treasures, not just the yetish ones. While I do like the game, starting from scratch again is an unappealing thought.

  • I'm looking forward to starting from scratch. I can try a different strategy, and I will better see how my progress compares to that of others in the game, since everyone is getting reset at the same time. Besides, once you get to the end of the skill tree the game gets a wee bit boring, in its current state.
