Plain Crystal
A shimmery, glimmery, Plain Crystal for making shimmery, glimmery, things. - There's also a spigot for gum trees, and a bunch of letter blocks, which I've never seen before. Oooh.
- I'd assume it has something to do with mining - perhaps you get Plain Crystals from mining Sparkly?
- The spigot is an old item; I think the devs said they won't be using it.

I've aways wondered about those letter blocks - do you think they'll ever be used in-game? It seems like they've been sitting there forever. - Also! A Firefly whistle: beta.glitch.com/items/696/ (Maybe a new skill required for that too?)

alpha.glitch.com/items/692/ - I know I'm a bit behind the times with this game, but why is there alpha.glitch.com and beta.glitch.com? They seem to be the same thing, but does this mean the game is that close to beta?

- I had a game server in the last test. Naturally I could not resist re-booting it. Whereupon it disappeared back into the cloud! Not sure it told me anything before it went. :-(
- It gave you some XP points when it was rebooted.
- Did only those who were there when the server crashed, get a server item? :(
- The server was a gift when there was crashing at the end of a test--and an inside joke to poke at one of the devs.
- It gave some XP, and had an energy/mood cost (I think 5 each).
- Bureaucrat = Bureaucroc! :D
- When the game came back up, they passed out game servers and you had to reload to see it in your inventory. They haven't said whether game servers would survive a reset as far as I know.
- Have you seen all the philosopher dolls? I definitely want a set of those!!

- You can fit a bureaucrat in your backpack?! Well, I guess I do already carry around a smelter, tons of metal ore, hundreds of eggs, obscene amounts of meat, etc.
- I don't know what a firefly is, but you use their dust to make crystals, and there is achievement involving whistling alpha.glitch.com/achievemen...

- Huh, I assumed those were part of the street spirit animation, since they didn't seem to move around the whole street like every other animal. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
- I am bumping this to hear if anyone got to play with it this last test. I saw a lot of chat in the help channel but couldn't keep up. Thanks.
- I was able to purchase a Crystallizer and got the Firefly Whistling Skill. You are able to capture fireflies with a jar and then use them to make a crystal...very similar to what the encyclopedia captions say. It was quite cool actually :) Well the quest part graphics at least.
- Nobody has anwered the question about alpha versus beta i am curious too
- The coming reset starts the final phase of alpha as I understand it.
- I got a video of the Fireflex 3000 lab quest (to get the whistle). It was crazy fun! In my opinion, the best quest in the game so far.....!!!!
- I used the crystallizer at the end of the test. It made a crystal, and destroyed my jar of fireflies in the process.

becouse of I bug I could do the quest (not sure I am supposed to tell this)
and believe me, its the most fun quest i did so far :)
- that was at the start of the test, could be you could go in there later on - Where do you find firefly's im not sure I have even see one? :(
- The fireflies I saw were in Peatland Moors but the ongoing project there made that a difficult street to get into.
