Is there any way to speed up the death of a plant?

I need to plant something at my house for a quest but all the patches are taken up by trees (Bubble, Spice and Egg). There any way I can get rid of at least one of them quicker?

  • there is an antidote so that trees can be saved from murder if someone goes on a killing spree.

i think the time it takes for trees to die needs to be extended for that to work tho.

  • I don't know about the poison but you could try a hatchet. (Available at hardware vendors)

  • WukerplankL: You can't cut down live trees as of now!

  • "You can't cut down live trees as of now!" This is true. The only way to kill trees at the moment is to use the tree poison.

"i think the time it takes for trees to die needs to be extended for that to work tho." This may be true as well. Currently, you can save a poisoned tree by using the antidote within one minute of poisoning. We may make the time span a little longer to allow for more tree saving.

  • i think you want to make the tree death time at least as long as the dirt re-spawn time.

  • Can trees have ages and corresponding toughness..maybe it could take longer to kill a full grown tree that has been around longer than another one.
