Maximum Number of Groups

Hi :)   I cannot join any groups because I keep receiving a message saying I have joined the maximum groups.  Is there anyway I can resign from a group so I can join another?  And, just curious, why is there a cap on how many groups we can join?  All replies welcomed :)

• Groups > Click on group name > Top right  is "Leave group" And maybe having too many groups haz too much data? Prevents you from spamming useless groups...

• I just found the "leave group" button.  I could swear it wasn't there the last time I looked lol.

• Nah, the point is that it forces you to be more creative about the groups you do choose to join. That way you'll only be in ones you'll actually contribute to.

• I find it hard to know enough about a group to determine if I want to join, so often I join a group to look at the discussion and then up quickly resigning because there are no recent discussions. I wish there was a way to preview the discussion, or join as a guest for a "trial" period to see if you really fit in that group.
