How much was the decision to use flash a factor in the fate of Glitch?

Can you export some levels so that we can try write an html5 version? :D

  • Reading over the FAQ it seemed to play a large part in the decision.

  • Well, I remember once (a while ago) having a conversation with Stoot about ambition and my possible pursuit in becoming knowledgeable about Flash. He told me if I learned Flash, I better also plan to learn about the next new platforms. We discussed mobile games and how they are the next "new thing." Gaming platforms are forever evolving. It's more apparent with gaming consoles, but social games evolve as well. We better start getting used to it as we begin to drift away from our computer desks towards being submerged in virtual worlds at the palm of our hands. Perhaps, we'll see mobile games from Tiny Speck in the future... hopefully.

  • A mobile game will never capture the amazing Glitch style. That is the only issue with this " everything is moving to mobile push"  you lose something in that.

But that said I feel like if they do develop a mobile game in the future, they know how to make it crazy fun.
