Currants As Items

What is the possibility that Currants could be items? I've thought it would be fun to leave currants lying around as random rewards for people or possibly as a means to start a player run bank in the game.

It would be neat to have bags of currants, briefcases full of currants, etc. Might make for shady exchanges in the game  ;)


In short, money as an object opens up some fun avenues of play.
