I bought one, and went from 70k to 20k...but it isn't showing up on my profile page or on the sold realty page.
I'm kinda freaking out over here...help!! - I might get one if they are near a subway station
- Last check there were only seven properties available at 50K. Developers - any chance of increasing that number?

- I've been chomping at the bit for housing there. I think Alakol is just beautiful!!! And the houses look fantastic. So, I'm going to be auctioning all my belongings.... please buy away and support my Glitch habit. I really love my house in Marrakesh, and would have never thought about switching... until I saw those! You've all outdone yourselves with those!!

- When they first went up there were TWO of each address. I think they are working out some kinks. Anne, Cupcake had the same issue. She had "8."

The addresses are on Quarter Street, but that street isn't in the Alakol list. (You need to have the greasemonkey script running to see the extended list of locations). Perhaps our houses are invalid (or test) locations?
edit: Wait, Cupcake bought 8? That's also the one I bought. Hmm... my profile page won't load now, either, but when I click on the "Sold" houses, it does say I own it. Weird!
Hey Cupcake, we may temporarily end up as roommates! I'll try not to leave dirty dishes in the sink. - @Merek: new houses can be found if you check out Navran Dissent in Anakol. The script hasn't been updated yet.

- If I reach back to the Mirch dev-stalking days.... and the course the apartments took in that one... for a brief while there there looked like 2 of every address. In reality, those became Froughtful Arms and Froughtful Villa Apts. I think the bad joo-joos people are seeing is just a by-product of the interface not knowing how to display information for the not-yet-released 'hidden' location the housing is on... so when you look at our profile it errors. Course it could be erroring because there's two buyers, what do I know?

- I can't see my friends' profile pages if they bought the new houses. Can only see those that didn't.
- No one can *really* buy them now: it was a bug that they showed up at all. People will get their currants refunded and all will be well :)

Can we keep them as a 'waiting list' and the currents are a deposit? - Um....stoot....I bought someone's house that sold it so they could buy the new one. Will they be homeless or will I?

This afternoon I was watching a Bauhaus feature and thinking how suitable it would be as a style adapted to Alakol.
So yes, I'm excited. - No listings for Alakol anymore...
- Your profiles are fixed again, the houses have been sold and the money returned. Please repurchase your old homes assuming you want to and they are still available — if someone bought your old house in the meantime, please file a ticket in the help system and we'll deal with those on a case by case basis.
- Thanks Stoot - I just repurchased my old house.. but I have to say I am really disappointed not to be living in Alakol

Thanks for the fix, stoot, et al. I'm sad that I can't buy one of those excellent houses yet, but happy that my account (and currants) are back to normal.
Let's hope the new styles are ready for prime time soon! -

I have a feeling they will be a lot like the houses in Shimla. The first batch went really quick, but then a whole lot more came on the market pretty fast.
At least I hope it goes like that. - Oooh! 1padme, that's an idea. Real estate auctions! It's too bad that when we sell our homes we cannot sell to a particular person. On the other hand, I suppose it's good that we can always sell a home we don't want, even if there isn't a buyer for it.
