Alternative ways to get your first house.
I like that houses are quite a bit easier to get into (at least, if the lower pricing will stay the same), but I was wondering if there might be alternative ways to get houses.
What if there were a few other ways to get into a house? For example, a Tom Nook-ish NPC that would lend you currants in exchange for some kind of servitude in the game. Or some kind of apprenticeship in one specific skill branch.
I also like the very very rare instance of lucking into a house, maybe with a gameshow spinner or something else randomish.

I love the idea of winning a house with e.g. a game show ticket (or maybe upgrade your current home in some way).
Aside from that, I think it is very easy to buy a house now. All you have to do is finish a few quests. I was able to buy one without mining once last test round. - I'd like to be able to choose the house.

As in the way it is now or choose which houses others win, Tingly?
The house one wins when spinning the wheel could be an additional summer cottage.
And since we are on the subject of houses:
We should be allowed to enter the houses and look around before buying. - Location is big, so choosing the way we do now. But, I just realized I could sell the house I won and buy another.

Oh heck--I don't want alternatives because I think getting a house is hard. I just want alternatives because it would create a different way to get sucked into the game. If new players could get a mortgage from an NPC, and then work off that mortgage doing jobs, I think that could be cool.
Maybe people doing street building projects could put in requests for things and mortgagees could contribute them--kind of like working on a chain gang, only without the gang, and only the soft velvet chains of home ownership. -

YES! I was thinking about that last time I bought a house. I'd love it if you could click on a house on the /realty page and get pictures of the outside AND inside of the house. I don't even care so much about seeing it before buying in-game. I'd love to be able to poke around the realty page when the game's offline & get a peek at different interiors. -

I kind of like the idea that hanging out in your house could restore your energy, albeit at a rather slow rate. It pretty much does that for me in real life, it would be nice if it did that in Glitch. - Stewart actually sent me that file .. *after* I'd already manually screen captured all the houses.. ugg : [ tedious.
