Annotatable Map

I'd like to be able to put personalized notes on my map, such as where I found a hidden forest, or where the best iMG quoins are, or where to go for sloths. 

This would be a good idea for a browser add-on too.

• I'm liking this idea. Preferably something that can be detached into another window for use on my second monitor, and might be able to highlight streets based on certain resources. As an example, this map of paper trees in the AL's (not made by me) that helped greatly when I was grinding paper tree badges: cl.ly/BzqI

• btw Glitch Companion Live is a browser add-on like that
  you can't draw anything on the maps
  but you can save street bookmarks with descriptions

• I can't believe there isn't something like this already (GCL not withstanding). A map add-on is one of the first things I downloaded when I started playing WoW.
