Dear Mum:
We haven't heard from you in a few days, so I'm sending little Red to visit you.

I hope you enjoy the jam! It's the last for the year, and I thought who better to give it to than you.

Keep well, mum! Let's get together soon and talk more about moving you into a house in the village!
xx

Day 4
This is most curious.
I woke up here a few days ago. I went to sleep as always, in the big bed with my sisters, and when I awoke...I was here.

I don't know where 'here' is. It's a tower, obviously. Food appears like magic when I'm hungry, but there's nothing to do, no way down, and no one to talk to.

It seems I have no choice but to amuse myself until I am rescued.
Day 173
Still here in this giantsforsaken tower. There must be paper trees nearby, as sheets regularly blow in through my window, so at least I can document my stay here.

I would amuse myself with origami, but it hasn't been invented.

Still awaiting that rescue. Still no word from anyone.
Day 417
After a long ############ period of coaxing, made easier by the recent appearan1ce of Salmon Jaella, I've been able to determine that it wasn't just my imagingqppation, but that of the giants--there are flying cats!

They hop up and down on the windooowsill and seem to enjoy sleeping onz theeeeeee paoperrs...usualllllllly the one on which I'm trying5555 to write. They're making my stay here more endurable.
Day 346
Still nothing. Surely someone will one day wonder where I am and come find me.

I've started getting glimpses of something strange up above the treetops. They look like...flying cats. Must be a product of my imagination.

I really need a haircut.
Day 513
I've had it with waiting for rescue.

I've been so bored that I started to teach the cats how to do tricks...must have been a year ago now. There are enough of them that I managed to train them to dig their claws into my shirt (not hard to do!) and eventually to carry me through the air!

Today I will taste freedom!!
The first thing I'm going to do is get a haircut.
