I haven't played Gitch in months...and now I am completely lost. I don't understand the new update for decorating houses...I'm not even sure yet what other big changes may have been made. I'm excited to see what else I can play with. Do I have to buy a new house in order to be able to decorate it?

No purchase necessary. Everything's free for now, but eventually will cost credits, imagination (which doesn't exist yet), or some such. Strawberries can't be planted (they are a fruit only). If someone mourns your death or celebrates your life, you get a drink ticket while in hell that you can use to buy wine of the dead (at the end of hell... There's a quest you'll get the first time.) there's magic forests of wood trees around, aaaaaaannd... That's all I can remember right now. If you didn't know about icons, those exist too. (11 emblems can become an icon).

I just logged in today for the first time in ages. Not sure what's going on in the world, I spent the whole time arranging my new house. Apparently they will get reset, so why did I even bother?
