Hi Chet! I love your notepole and note collection. Here's my favorite Cajun joke for ya (found one transcription online that I'm copying and pasting here).
Thibodeaux and Boudreaux had a farm. They had all kinds of animals on the farm but they needed a Bull to complete the herd. Boudreaux read about a Bull sale down in New Mexico, so he sent Thibodeaux down to Mexico to check it out. After three days looking, Thibodeaux found the perfect Bull. He went to the local Western Union to send Boudreaux the following telegram: "Boudreaux, come and get the bull in New Mexico", your friend Thibodeaux. The Western Union cleark told Thibodeaux that he only had enough money for one word.. After thinking about this, Thibodeaux sent the following message to Boudreaux: "COMFORTABLE." The Western Union guy said "Comfortable", why comfortable. Thibodeaux replied, well you see, my friend Boudreaux reads slow: COM-FOR-TA-BLE.
