Know what you mean. :( Guess I was pretty lucky when the Rube traded a doll for a grand ol' grinder :-) And the street value for that is around 2000 currants i think. But, yes It is pretty sad what some of those dolls are going for at auction; some are even priced at 100k. :( Wouldn't mind collecting them all, right now I just have the one.Ludwig.*:-)

Well, I have the two other dolls - perhaps we should meet up sometime in the herb gardens and temporarily swap... to score all three - just curious if one gets a collectors trophy for all 3. Maybe next time I see you.... otherwise I discovered that they are very "boring" As to trading with Rube, happy to trade big stuff... do you remember if you got the trade offer at the start, or did you have to go to the trade offer 4/5?

Yes, the auctions can be akin to organized crime for some items. Glad you got the doll, I hope to get a few sometime.
