New Route for Furniture Sellers

This is a route type I keep wanting to browse, but there doesn't seem to be one. So I thought I'd see if there's any other interest and give a shot at starting it.

If you've got a tower with pre-made furniture for sale (basic or upgraded, either works), take a look and maybe join?

Friendly suggestions are also welcome.

  • Thanks, I have added myself.

There is also Hawkwell's fantastic Tower Furniture Showroom group

Also, for 1k per credit people, free sub, base and custom there is this list: www.glitch.com/forum/market...

  • That sounds like a great idea.

Would like to join but the number 4 slot on my signpost is already being used for another route. Need more signs!

  • I want to join as I have just bought a tower but have not constructed it yet..... But I will join when I have finished it.

  • Thanks for joining!

@Cleops - I've been to several in the group (a few were sadly empty), but routes are so easy when you want to serial browse. :-) I didn't know about the Marketplace post though, thanks!

@Artistech - Sorry, I know, there are a limited number. I thought 4 might be more open than 1 or 5 especially, but I think it'd be impossible to not conflict. Do routes generally allow you to use a different spot as long as there's a sign letting visitors know?

@Misty Power - Good luck finishing your tower! It's a big investment but fun to work on. :-) I'll look forward to seeing it.

  • Thanks! I hope to make a Japanese restaurant and/or Italian restaurant on one of the floors!

  • this is such a great idea - from a buyers perspective :D

and to add my useless noob two cents - i don't see why it matters which signpost it is (i understand certain routes using all top signs for easy following, but i always read the route information so if it said 'follow [x] for more furniture' i'm perfectly capable, lol.) and i wish we could have more than one signpost! the more i play the more cool stuff i find that i want to direct others towards. (a terrible problem i know :p)

  • Oooh, I've just realised I could change #3 without it messing up an existing route. My non-route friend won't mind :)  I can sign it appropriately.  Would that be OK?

  • Artistech - that works for me.  Like jerk nugget said, I usually check for signs even if I know what signpost it's supposed to be, just to make sure I make the right hop, since player names can change or be deleted or whatever.  So I think it's fine as long as no one else objects.

  • Cool, thanks!  I'm in. Number 4 signpost is perfect for me.

  • OK, added myself at Grelca, and had to temporarily use the 4th signpost to get it to accept me. Now I've changed it to 3 and put a note up. Not sure it will work long term though, think Grelca is going to moan about me. Let me know if I'm more of a problem than it's worth.

  • Thank you for curating this route! Great idea since I'm too lazy to advertise in the marketplace :-)

  • Candy Warhol - Thanks for joining!  I don't know that I feel qualified to be a curator, but it's pretty cool to see it taking shape. :-)
