Can anyone give me instructions please on how to get my Glitch's sprite sheet (in simple terms!)...? I really want to capture all the character of my little Glitch before the end :(
I used this. Replace your TSID in the url with yours. You could go searching through the doc for all the urls and remove the backslashes, but since I've spent way too much time pulling sprite sheets for DoU characters, I have the animation names memorized. I just copy the first png and then replace the names at the end with base, jump, climb, happy, idle1-4, and idleSleepy. Hope that helps.
Go to your profile page, and copy the long number/letter code that's in your profile's URL. Then, using the link that tis posted, take out the code that comes after "player_tisd=", but before the "&", and replace it with the code you copied. Copy the first url on that page(it ends in base.png) and take out all the \'s, leaving only the the forward slashes. The image that comes up is your base sprite sheet, and you can get the others by replacing "base" with "jump", "climb", "happy", "idle1", "idle2", "idle3", "idle4", and "idleSleepy". I hope this clears up tis' post a bit! It can be pretty confusing, haha
What I did is that I first clicked on GravityGrip's link, and in a new tab went to my profile to get the part of the URL that looks like gibberish and replaced the part at the end of Gravity's link with it.
So it would be..
GravityGrip's link: apiglitchcom/simple/players.getAnimations?player_tsid=PA96B36U7PD25JO
My Profile: wwwglitchcom/profiles/PUVPHG3JADH2R2N
This then should be changed to: apiglitchcom/simple/players.getAnimations?player_tsid=PUVPHG3JADH2R2N
An example of this would be this using flask's profile:apiglitchcom/simple/players.getAnimations?player_tsid=PHVFG0THJF827TB
After you replaced the end part and go to it, look for the first http link, copy it and paste it onto the url bar. Then what's left is that you will need to get rid of all of the "\" in the url.
And that's it!
By the way, all of the links that you get from GravityGrip's link will be the same except for the end part, so if you want to speed things up a bit you can just get rid of everything past the last "_" and replace it with this:
Find your tsid in the URL of your profile. Should be the part in glitch.com/profiles/TSIDHERE/ starting with the letter P.
The radio button should be left at Unauthenticated call
Click Test
When the code generates in the bottom box find the first url within the code and copy and paste it into your brower and remove the backslashes, but insert an extra forward slash after the semi colons. Then repeat for the other url's.

We're working on a tool to make sprite downloads easier for you guys. Don't spend too much time doing the sprite downloads manually right now — unless, of course, you're enjoying it, and in that case you should just plow right on ahead.
So glad to hear you're working on something simpler Little Poundcaks 'cuz nothing I did works! I'm sure it's me, so I'm thankful you guys are willing to do this!
So you get your API call info. Note that there's a date. That's related to whichever Saved Look you're using, so if you change back and want to download that one too you can. You still need only that info, because that's all that changes (And it all changes when you change your clothes).
1) Paste all of that, from <HTML> through </HTML> into something plain text (Notepad, TextEdit, Gedit, whatever) and save it to your desktop as GlitchSprites.html
2) Go get your API info as per above. Note you only need to copy the info I've bolded here, in this example:
c2.glitch.bz\/avatars\/2012-05-10\/a6ed88166aea899f5dd3729fc6cc0384_1336665403_idleSleepy.png
3) Make sure you take out the one weird backslash after the date, then copy it again.
4) Paste that version over the double dollar signs in the HTML blurb I gave you.
5) Save.
6) Open the desktop file in your browser of choice.
7) Download!
If you want more than look, just rinse and repeat, as the same chunk of numbers/letters will change. I hope this makes sense and helps. Once you do it once, you'll be as stoked as I am!
Ok, so now I'm reeeaaalllly confused and need help. I used Janitch's link.. which is great of course, last night. Saved the sprite sheet as a .png somehow (apparently I am now inexplicably challenged in this regard) . Just changed my outfit and wanted to do it again, but it seems I can only save the results as an HTML page (complete or stand alone). Can some one explain how I save it as a .png? Help!!
Can anyone tell me if there is software (preferably free.. lol) that I can use to turn the sprite sheets into an animation. I tried Glitch Playhouse's utility, but not all of the gif's com out right.
