[not a bug] Pocket Salmon/Pocket Salmen. Bug?

Pocket Salmon appears as 'Pocket Salmon' in the purchase from SDB window but is named 'Pocket Salmen' in my inventory, and in the info its 'Pocket Salmon' again.

Perhaps this is intentional as it appears to be happening to Salmon that has been renamed (I'm assuming here).

There are 1500 odd 'Pocket Salmen' in my tower on floor 3 (not for sale) should staff want to look/require any. :)

  • Isn't this a spelling error on the tool tip and action menu? Salmen in some places, Salmon in others. Or am I missing something? Just sayin....

  • The devs say "salmen" is the special glitch plural for salmon. I'm pretty sure they just messed up and decided they liked it that way, but hey.

  • As "mon" used to be a variant of "man" in Old English, if these fishies are based on, er, men somehow, "sal-men" is a perfectly acceptable umlaut plural. Yes.

Why they'd have anything to do with ropes and men, though, I do not know...as "sal" in old English meant rope (like German "Seil".) So are edible fish here are, in fact, rope-men. *looks shifty*

  • idk, but a fishing line could be seen as a very thin rope?!
