Save & return during 1st training level
I clicked Save before I finished the first training level (after planting beans). When I returned I had all my previous collected inventory items but I started at the beginning and had to repeat all the training.
Also because of this I ended up with two hoes and two watering cans which took up four inventory slots instead of two counted (2) collapsed ones.
Great work. Fun game. Hope this helps.
