MERL - still recruiting for the last few positions before public launch!
[ETA] MERL is launching!!! We are partying hard in the clubhouse until 6am Glitch Time, then we're heading out to follow MERL for the first time!!
If you're not a member of MERL but you'd like to join us... meet here at 6am and we'll give you a tour!!

To celebrate my birthday this Sunday (17th June) I will be spending the whole day on Glitch setting up and launching the new improved MERL (Micro Express Resource Loop) and hosting a party once it's done in the MERL clubhouse!
All members of the new MERL will receive their giftboxes with instructions and customised signs to begin the set up. Then once we're all connected up and ready to go the party will begin!
There are still the following positions available on the route:
1 Bubble, 2 Egg, 1 Fruit, 2 Dirt and 1 Peat
So if you would like to join, please read the requirements below and leave a message so I can add you to the list :)
[PLEASE READ] Requirements:
to join the route you MUST have the following -
✿Bean Streets - a MINIMUM of 15 Bean Trees in your home street.
✿Bubble Streets - a MINIMUM of 15 Bubble Trees in your home street.
✿Egg streets - a MINIMUM of 15 Egg Trees in your home street.
✿Fruit Streets - a MINIMUM of 15 Fruit Trees in your home street.
✿Gas Streets - a MINIMUM of 15 Gas Trees in your home street.
✿Spice Streets - a MINIMUM of 15 Spice Trees in your home street.
✿Dirt Pile Streets - a MINIMUM of 19 Dirt Piles in your home street.
✿Peat Streets - a MINIMUM of 18 Peat Bogs in your home street.
IMPORTANT - Both the top and bottom signs on your signpost must be available and you must NOT be on any other existing route.
as a member of MERL you will recieve -
✿ A welcome Gift box with instructions and 2 customised note posts to place on your street.
✿ An invite to the MERL group with a chat room to communicate with your fellow glitchen in MERL.
✿ Access to the exclusive MERL club house on the route where you can have a break from harvesting and hang out with other MERL members and share ideas and resources. Food, drinks and other resources will be available depending on availability.

✿You're ok with being on a resource route that is open to the public.
✿You're community minded and open to participate in any future MERL events.
✿You're happy to have one single type of resource on your street.
If you are interested I can reserve a position for you if you believe you will have enough iMG to meet the requirements by the time we're ready to launch (Sunday 17th June - my birthday!!)

- Hi, I would like to sign up for this, but I haven't decided which resource yet. Looking at the proposed loop, & seeing that certain one street resources are not listed, does that mean they are taken? If not, I would love to be all barnacles... otherwise, let me finish cleaning out my street & I will get back to you.

@Shiola - Thanks for your interest! The streets listed above are the ones we need for the planned expansion. Barnacles are already taken and as they are a respawning resource I decided not to add a micro route for any of the respawning ones. The resources we need are the ones that you can only harvest "once a game day". If you're still interested in joining it would be great to have you!
@Helvete - the above is for the planned expansion of the route. MERL exists already as a single loop. - By the way, if anyone is interested in joining as a tree street, if you can get the 15 patches required I will come over and plant up your street for you :)
- Put me in for Spice Tree route. Just send me a message with the information. One patch was accidentally dug out, so it's 14/15 for now. :-P
- I will start working my yard towards a spice tree route. I'd love to sign up for that. :) I should be able to have it all spice by end of week.

I would like to consider being on the peat route but I'd have to change my set up. How much time is given to make adjustments? - @Minkey - you have plenty of time. We're not going to start building till next weekend, and we won't launch until everyone is ready..... so it's just the commitment we're looking for right now.. we will all work together to help everyone get their streets up together :D

well then, I would like to add myself to the list for peat routes!
I've already added two more peats to my yard and will work on adding the rest.
My first route, yay! - I'd like to be on the bubble route. I'll start changing my street to prepare.

Looks like fun! - I have my yard ready! All 15 spice plants are almost at full maturity. Can't wait! This looks like such fun!

- I just set up my yard to be a Dirt Pile street, 19 Dirt Piles waiting to be dug.
- ummm.....isn't this the same thing as Lx's post and what he has done with the serious resource routes list??? why make 2 or am i confused??
- It seems that this group is the extremist version of Lx's Serious Resource Route.SRR requires a minimum of 12 trees, the MERL requires that you only have the MAXIMUM amount of that resource.
- It's also just 5 streets of that resource and that's it, whereas SRR has quite a few.

- Id like to join as an Egg tree. i have 1 sparkly in the way and when it can be removed i will convert it.

Hi guys! Sorry I've been away for a few days and haven't had online access :/ I've just got home so I'm going to have a cuppa and then start updating the lists. It's my birthday this Sunday so I was thinking about setting everything up then, if that works for you guys?

Woooo! - I work Sundays but will try to check in with you sometime that day. Happy birthday if I miss you! I will have all my bean trees in place by then, and I am more than willing to help anyone else get set up. I have one unused signpost already in my front yard if that helps.
