Player street cred
I remember some people wondering if a person was a huge pain and then changed their name that they could go wreak havok again.
What if you got street cred, helping noobs and other thigs could get you cred but if you stole something or was just a general pain than people can knock off points.
I have seen this work on forums, if you were helpful or you posted something cool then you got points. You could knock them off but most people were fairly respectful.
