A notebook
To keep your notes in. A lot of us have cherished notes that were left for us and 16 in a bag doesn't really cut it. It should be a different storage scheme than bags/cabinets, like flipping through pages. It could still have page limits. 50ish? Pick a prime number. It would be good if they could be renamed like bags are.
Something like that could make notes useful as, uh, notes in game. Like a list of where you saw ghosts so you don't go back looking for ghosts where you already saw a ghost like a year ago but didn't write that down anywhere because who knew you would still be looking for ghosts a year from then? I mean, come on.

Definitely! Someone suggested a bookbinding skill at one point, the idea being exactly this--to make notebooks, collections, journals, etc.

- I love this idea! I keep a lot of notes in one bag (e.g. notes about the materials needed for restorations, to make EHSP, where the keys to the basement seam streets are hidden) and it would be great to carry a notebook instead! And it would make a great gift to another player, too!

- I really like this idea. It'd be cool if the notebook could be set on your home street or in specific locations to act as a guestbook, too.
- Yes, please. It's the one thing I miss in this game.
- I would LOVE the idea to stack up non-empty notes, at the very least. Because of the latest Feat, I've been visiting a lot, and noticed some people had VERY helpful reference signs/notes with info which I'd have liked to retain for future use.
- Oh yes please! I have dozens and dozens and ... yep, more dozens of notes. The best way I have found to store them so far is to pile them up on a table, but that reminds me too much of my rl house.

it would also be neat to have it open like under where the map is above chats - i haven't been playing long but on day one i wanted a notepad. i use a stickynote app on my laptop, sure, but it's annoying to switch windows esp when you're trying to do things like follow recipes for discovering chemical compounds and such. - +1 notebook, bookbinding skill
- Fantastic idea for the notebook...I've got 4 bigger bags full of notes, and would a flip-notebook as a way of storing them. Also love the idea of a book-binding skill...that would give us a way to use some of that paper we collect in the badlands and "self-publish" some books, like books of poetry to give to friends or what not. Yes, please!!
