The Arcade
The Arcade:
A building that features all the current mini-games. This could also serve as a Community Hub. Players who wish to play the mini-games can go to the Arcade and find other players there who also want to play the mini-games, thereby making new friends and finding new competitors to play against.
Step 1:
Remove all Ticket Dispensers from the world.
Step 2:
Change all Gameshow Tickets to Arcade Tickets. (Optional: Change iMG Upgrade tickets to Arcade Tickets as well).
The Arcade would be a Building that players can enter. Inside the Arcade there is a Vendor who sells Arcade Tickets. Arcade Tickets can also be found randomly by performing in-game actions, as well as by donating to shrines.
Arcade Tickets can be used to access the various current mini-games of the world, such as Races, Game of Crowns, Hog-tied competitions, etc.
There can either be various rooms one can enter using a ticket OR an NPC who transports you to the correct game by using a ticket - whichever is easier on the programming side.
In addition to the current rewards of iMG & Currents for successfully winning a game, the winning player also receives a Prize Ticket.
Prize Vendor:
In the Arcade there is also a Prize Vendor. He accepts Prize Tickets in exchange for fabulous rewards.
Sample Prizes:
Gameshow Wheel, same as using a current Gameshow Ticket. Suggest Price: 1 Prize Ticket
Cubimal Series 3 Box, exclusive to the Arcade Prize Vendor. Suggest Price: 500 Prize Tickets
Mystery Box, contains a random item - including the chance at a rare item. The Rare items could be unique to the boxes or pulled from the same data pool as Rube Trades. Suggested Price: 1,000 Prize Tickets
Racing Cups:
The Current Races could optionally be divided into cups: Butterfly Cup, Chicken Cup & Pig Cup.
The Butterfly Cup disables any current walk speed & jump upgrades the player has before entering.
Chicken Cup disables any jump upgrade, but walk speed upgrades are enabled.
Pig Cup doesn't disable any upgrade.
Cups would require 2 players to complete a set of 3 races. After completing, the Winner gets Prize Tickets as well as points towards a Badge/Trophy.
