The Last Post Thread

The aim of the game is to have the last post. Simple/pointless, really.

I'm currently winning. :P

  • So it seemed, Dahlia, but there is always somebody else to take care of...

  • erk! eek! Aack! Oomph!

Rolls 12 sides dice with wombat claws, summoning Rook. "go get em..."
Posted 11 years ago by Quinton Falkner Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Uh, Xim'....what'd you do with the "---e P----"? [backs away slowly from Wombatuinton]
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Dahlia, you have a choice... Betray your alliance with Xem, and join me, or... suffer from the cruel fate that awaits you.
Posted 11 years ago by Quinton Falkner Subscriber! | Permalink
  • [shakes head as if waking from a deep sleep] Wow. Those wombat whiskers really wriggle a lot when you talk...'sreally distracting.
    What was that you said?
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ahem (clears throat) I said... SQUEEK'
Posted 11 years ago by Quinton Falkner Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Well, Wombatuinton...you are rather plump and furry, in an adorable kind of way...and a whole lot less hostile-looking now with those whiskers and all....but, asking me to betray an alliance, one as tenuous as this one is....[pauses to consider]

  • Squeak! Squeak!!! Squeak.
Posted 11 years ago by Quinton Falkner Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Was the incessant squeaking did me in...I cannot betray Xim', I...wait [looks around in confusion]...
    Where is Xim'?
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • places an orb on a pedestal in the area that absorbs all squeaks and renders those squeaks null and void.

squeaks cannot be used and if someone types squeak he types dashes or some other muted version of the squeak instead.

  • - - - -- !!! (seriously!?!) *patiently waits for some kind of magical fairy tale sign of affection to undo transmogrification.

** Feels bad about what happened to Xim...

  • *Returns after accidentally targeting himself with the zzzzzap gun. Crawls behind the trees trying to go unnoticed.*
Posted 11 years ago by Ximenez Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Xim'! Put that thing away...you're going to hurt someone! (And I know that's kinda the point, but)
Wombatuinton's -----s (hey!) don't work anymore! We have to help him! [starts fiddling with settings on transmogrifier]...d'you know this "dawgg" fellow?
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • * Finished learning Telepathy I.

With Telepathy I you now have the ability to communicate without the taxing muscle movements required for normal Glitchen speak. Not only does it require zero energy, but in rare cases, allows an accidental transmogrified rodent the ability to build a perfectly fine cave dwelling (among other things).

    * Flies off to find Potion of Permanent Personhood in the extended Glitch universe... Which seems to follow no rules and obviously changes key plot elements from the original, to the chagrin of loyal fans.
Posted 11 years ago by Quinton Falkner Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Damn! [flips through binder looking for class schedule] I've got a spare in third period...maybe I can squeeze another class in...Telepathy I, huh? So, what happens if I combine that skill with my Telekinetic Moving II, I wonder?
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • This "dawgg" fellow... Doesn't look like much. Let's keep an eye on him anyway.

*Hurrying up to Mind Control XVI. With the 3% penalty, this is taking awfully long. Worse even, Mind Control XV was a disappointment, as it was only about controlling your own mind.*

Posted 11 years ago by Ximenez Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Quinton, I know your recent lack of opposable thumbs may have prevented you from working a doorknob, but c'mon...we don't need every vagrant and miscreant in Ur popping in just to have a sniff around! [shuts door with a firm *click*]
    There! [dusts hands off]

  • Well done, Dahlia.

By the way, did you just lock yourself out?
Posted 11 years ago by Ximenez Subscriber! | Permalink

Posted 11 years ago by Rammi Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Awwwwww......CRAP! [starts rummaging through Bigger Bag for Teal-White Hexagon Key]
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • And, thanks Rammi, but really, I'm more of a Purps girl...No-No gives me such a headache!
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Sorry about the door, I was in a rush to find the spirit of glitchmas.
Posted 11 years ago by Quinton Falkner Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ahhhh! Here it is! [pulls key out of bag and opens door]
That's okay Quinton...I understand how the holidaze can befuddle a person...especially if that person's a wombat....speaking of which...
[pulls out transmogrifying gun and aims at Wombatuinton *kazow*] There, back to your Glitchy self!
Posted 11 years ago by Dahlia DreadNaught Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Thank you Dahlia, you are too kind.

  • Great! Looks like we are all friends now, aren't we?

On this happy note, I hereby declare the game finished and me, of course, the winner.

  • This is where we use the teal-white hexagon key!? I've had this one for so long I... No wait... This is a square.
Posted 11 years ago by Jodeik Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I suspect teal-white keys change form when we are not looking.

    [Blanky: still waiting.]
