Tiny Speck's speck

So I'm assuming a couple of you have been to tinyspeck.com and have seen the speck/logo on their website. 

What do you suppose it is?

A speck of ink? If I look at it long enough it looks like a nucleus or something. 

Or, considering the line 'We will blow your minds' is right there, could it be a brain exploding? Or the world/universe/galaxy exploding. 

Or it could be bird poo, if you want to be yucky :P

Ooh... a squashed grape. Ha!

• It says in the first paragraph:  "highly charged particle collisions".  I suspeck (sic) that is what it is only it seems to have eyes :D
