Coraline

I just saw this movie (it came out in 2009), and I think that a lot of Glitchers may like it too! It has a similar aesthetic to Glitch (cloth dolls and the like), and a sweet story about imagination and bravery.

  • The book is nice. Read everything by Neil Gaiman for Glitch like experiences.

  • Yessssssss Neil Gaiman is the best. I wouldn't say much of his other stuff is Glitchlike but it's superb.

  • I have the book. Its cover art is based on the movie, and it freaks me out so much I have to hide it from myself. I'm not really sure why I haven't thrown it out.

  • @SeerQueen: Cover the cover with a wrapping paper of your choice and then read the book. The book is great. I don't know about the film, haven't seen it, but the book is great.

  • I'm very fond of the book, though for some reason I didn't like the movie so much when I saw it. Paranorman (by the same studio) was really good though so I'll have to try again.

  • I named my butler Coraline after the book/movie because she had button eyes.
