considering Newborn Mole Rat skin color? It's more interesting than it looks
Yes, the skin color is pale, it's boring, and it looks like your average caucasian goth. But the Naked Mole Rat is much more interesting than its Glitch skin color namesake might imply. Check this:

I've seen them! They DO have a strangely ugly-cute quality about them. Like you want to pet them because you want to know how soft is the skin...and you want to give them a cuddle and tell them that it's okay, they can look hideous if they want....and you want to knit them little sweaters.....

They're cold blooded. Very interesting in a mammal. live for 30 years too - interesting in any non-bird, small animal
