This floor will never be finished now...but I don't mind.

From here, I can see the stars.
Part 5
The cracks in imagination were being driven back. The Glitches were holding tight to one another, refusing to let go. Fighting with their own imagination. Ur was being kept whole. But through the cracks, Star could catch glimpses of something very strange. A presence, or a great deal of presences, almost like the giants, but different and far more plentiful. Almost like...the voices of Glitchen. ?They?re losing parts of themselves.? ?No.? Sun?s voice was firm. ?They are just being separated. One door is being closed, but there are others still open. As long as they can find one of those new doors...they can always find their way back.? ?And...Ur? Now that the Giants have gone...? The cracks were closing, and all around were cheers and voices raised in celebration. Glitches were hugging, high-fiving, sharing random kindnesses and getting plastered. ?Oh, they?ll be back.? Moon looked happily down at the partying Glitches below. ?And when they come, Ur will be waiting for them.?
Part 4
They found their sister in uutiif, where they could see the cracks opening in imagination all across the world. Glitches were gathering together. ?The end of the twelfth age,? said Moon. ?The giants are dividing once more. Who knows if they?ll ever rejoin again?? ?It?s horrible!? Star cried, unable to contain themselves. Below them, they could see the Glitches as they gathered between the widening cracks. ?I don?t want it all to end! I love this place! I love the Glitchen who live here! Why does it have to go?? ?Because the price for having something so wonderful is that you have to give it back.? Sun took Star?s and Moon?s hands. ?It?s what makes it precious.? Star shut their eyes. ?Look,? encouraged Sun, ?you?ll want to see this part.? Star refused. If the world had to end this way, they didn?t want to see. ?Don?t worry. It?s something good.? Reluctantly, Star opened one eye. And then they gaped.
The Story
This is a story I wrote about the end of Ur. I apologise if it's horrible, but it was something I kind of felt compelled to do. If you do decide to read all 5 parts (it has a happy ending) then thanks! If you don't, or you do and decide you hate it, thanks also. It was good playing with you guys.

The thing is, this game isn't like any I've ever played before in my life. It's a piece of art, a world, an entire society, all set (most appropriately) in a world built solely from imagination.

It didn't inspire hate, or anger, or envy. Just fun.

And...love.

Love of a strange little game, love for the strangers who played it and the people who made it. Love of an ubsurd idea that somehow made our lives better, and our worlds bigger.

A tiny speck of light.

And for those of us lucky enough to be touched by its glow, the world will be forever altered.

Wherever you go and whatever you do from here on out, thanks for being part of it all. Good luck in the future.

Until we meet again.
