Honestly, naming my pigs was one of my favourite things about home streets. My chickens also had delightfully preposterous names but I liked to stand, hip deep in pigs, and say to myself, "That's right, Pigs Obviously, your flanks *are* crackling under my electric touch." Only, it wasn't creepy. >_>
I named my pigs in my house after people I played WoW with only, instead of Grimhorn it was Grimhock and the like. I also did it on my home street with musician names such as deadswin3.
I miss my fat hobbit piggies and dwarf chickens so very much. They were all named after actual Tolkien characters (except for one piggy who had a made-up hobbit name- I had a guessing game for visitors to try and figure out which one and no one ever figured it out).
I had a sign with all of their names, and when one would wander I'd hatch a new one, rename it, and we'd be back to full force again.
Yeah... I miss them a lot. =(
