Great shot, Jason!! The bog houses are going to be tough to leave, but at least we can give our new houses a lot of bog atmosphere. :-)

Although I've never owned one the bog houses have a lot of charm. Somehow they seem cozier than the cottages, tree houses and the houses in Groddle Heights. Thanks for the pic. I'll be sad to see them go too..

Just wondering. Why not let existing users have a choice of keeping their house the way it is, or converting to the new one? New users only get the new house. I already have configurable rooms on Whirled. I like my Glitch house because it is unique. Certainly you can still generate income by charging for existing item upgrades. ie: bigger cabinet, larger plot, etc. Could even let players pay off the shrines for icons. LOL I really do love the houses just the way they are. Will be sad to see them go. Not sure I will devote as much time to this game once the change takes place.

or: Have the new houses available for purchase as vacation homes. Am I clinging on to tight to my hopes of keeping my original home?

I have noticed that although test houses are available free, my street (in Chakra Phool) no longer has the 3 for sale that it did a couple of months ago. How do we start a mutiny to keep our bog houses, or at least get them converted to fit the 2 story test house layout? Whoever did all that lovely artwork, just drop a few hints in the right place to get it started :)

I had a thought. Will we be reimbursed for the currants we spent on our original houses? I would feel pretty bad for those who spent a good amount on the larger three story houses, only to have them downgraded to one that can only take one additional floor. It's almost like I paid for a house that is going to be demolished while I am still living in it and turned into something I don't want to live in. Glad it is virtual, but I still think those who already purchased houses should get to keep them.
