Darnit, how do you get your Craftybot to work??!

You clik on it.... and click craft.

It needs to have the items in SDBs and its own set of tools somewhere in your house

The trick is to not give him too much to do at once, he gets confused... he gets stuck on a job sometimes, then I delete it and re-create the job. Mostly he's been good... mostly ;)

Mine made a wall segment but that was a little while ago. Since then he can't find the Construction Tool I put right in front of him, even if I move him to spaces w/little else around him.

Thx, Mocha Maid--another friend suggested the SDBs, too! Just need to make another one for him! Wish we could make a Construction Tool vs. having to buy one.

Haven't wanted to delete a job: don't wan't to waste the supplies--he has quite a few! He just needs to find the tool to complete it! (Miss P: "...mostly" :D ) Thx, everyone!

Mine never worked, and now this close to the end, I can't bring myself to make him work...wish I could just let him wander Ur and see all the cool things.

Most of the time when I delete a job he drops the ingredients on the ground, so if you get desperate it still might be worth a try :) Another trick - sometimes if he gets stuck on a sub-step, making hard bubbles for piggy eggs for example, I will make the hard bubbles myself and drop them on the ground, then he finishes the job. Not totally functional, but at least the batch doesn't get wasted!
