My humble hobbit hole. Not done decorating the top floor, yet, though.

Aaaah, your shrine to the "Shiny Object with No Intrinsic Value." The house is looking good!! And I think it makes perfect sense that the upstairs shrine room be a work in progress as you proceed down the shiny path.

I think the shrine is appropriately decorated. With nothing of intrinsic value.

Thank you! I'm thinking that IF I put anything more up there, it'll be free stuff. But, it's mostly about the feng shui. For instance, I've already moved the pedestal over to right above the sofa for better balance.

Originally, I was going to put the shrine on the first floor, where visitors could enjoy it right away, leaving the top too floors for my workshop and storage. But, it occurred to me early on that that did not fit my game play. I hardly ever have anyone over. So I have things arranged in order of usage. Workshop on first floor, long term storage on second (disguised as a livingroom), and pointless aesthetics on top!

Isn't everybody's living room really just disguised, long-term storage?

Jesus turned his 3rd floor into a pig room. feeders and collectors and lots of pigs. It makes sense.

I was very tempted to do that myself. And, since I've seen collectors collect meat from anywhere on the street, regardless of where the piggies are kept with a stick, it's also very tempting to try putting them (and maybe even the feeders) on the second floor, so you don't even have to go up there. Which gives me a whole new idea...

I did, didn't I? It took me a moment to ascertain what it could have been, too. I'm gonna see if I can figure it all out again tonight, then get back with snaps.
