Bitchin' Glitchen Limerick Contest

My tower is now called Glitch Limerick Contest because I'm having a limerick contest.

Prizes TBA
Date TBA
Write then perform your limerick(s) onstage at the Bog Hall Theatre (take the elevator up one floor) on Osprey's home street! Not sure when, but soonish.

Did I mention prizes?
ALSO PRIZES!!!
Dirty limericks allowable.*

Here's one I wrote:

A slithering tentacl'd dame
Sold cocktails without feeling shame.
Though her wares were not neat,
Just diluted and sweet,
Her business was brisk just the same.

* double-entendres encouraged hah

  • Ooh okay, here goes!

There once were some glitchen of Ur,
Who were so appallingly poor -
    But they'd harvest and mine,
    For a very long time.
So if you think you're rich, glitch, they've more.

    It's not great, but yeah.~

  • There once was a young man named Bob,
    who simply detested his job,
    so that dude ran away
and played Glitch the whole day
and told all that his boss was a slob.

(This is pretty terrible...I'll think of a better one later!)

  • A glitch named after a flower
Decided to build her own tower.
    Currants were rare,
    But friends, everywhere.
She is very happy with her flour.

  • There once was glitchen,
    Who opened a tower kitchen,
    Her food was bad
    And people were a'bitchin'.
That glitchen served guano in her kitchen.

  • The limericks are fun!
I'm thinking maybe Thursday ( 3 PDT? or when?) would be a good day for the contest. I'm not expecting much, but would anyone be interested in coming?

  • A piggy from Groddle was bored,
So packed up and across UR he toured,
    earning currants with tricks,
    entertaining the chicks,
by showing them all his pork sword

  • Helga went out on a date
With Friendly her true special mate,
    The meal was divine
until Helga let out a whine,
"you've knocked bloody salt on my tail!"

  • There was a bold glitchen called Loupin
    whose piggies were constantly poopin'
there was a smile on his chops
    when surrounded by plops
and he spent the whole day just a' scoopin'

  • Helga showed Friendly her frock
which she lifted and gave him a shock
    "youve just hatched an egg.."
    "so my question i beg..."
"is it a chick or a cock?"

  • There once was a man from Kajuu
Who's cock was as big as his shoe
But his feet were so small
     Two inches in all
That he can't find a lady to screw

  • P.S. I know we're supposed to go to your tower and perform these but ... I couldn't help myself. I'm sorry.

A fair Glitch from Navran Dissent
Had a "valley" so long it was bent.
    Her beaux, when they entered,
    Would feel quite off-centered,
And instead of coming, they went.

  • There once were some glitchen aglow
With the dream of a traveling show
    Acting favorite bits
    From ridiculous skits ..
But would any Glitch audience go?

Vocable, for the PPLAY (Players and Performers, LIve All Year) & "The Shiny Object That Was A Dirty Fork."
