freezing in air bug

so it probably doesn't affect game play that much, but if i freeze myself in mid air.. i can go to local chat using cntrl+enter or mouse click and go to either chat area on the right and stay, but if i cntrl+enter to the group/IM area second... or click on the local chat area second, i fall to the ground. i'd just like to be able to stay in the air when typing!
