Patch issues in Navran Dissent House

So I bought a house yesterday in Navran Dissent. It was listed as having 3 patches and 1 dark patch. I planted my trees, went to bed, and today, all the patches are bare. And the dark patch is now a regular patch. 

I'm pretty sure I'm not crazy. I know I had 4 healthy little seedlings when I went to bed. I'm 95% sure that the one in the back under the house was an eggplant. Now it's a bare, regular patch. 

What happened?
