Text obscured

After donating to shrine to Cosma, a message appeared. However, it was partly obscured by my familiar reading a book...

  basically, if you're interacting with anything near the top of the screen and a message pops up, it's obscured by the rock. could the rock get moved back to a layer behind any on-screen dialogue?
