why is the chilliwack filter called the chilliwack filter?

as a person who lives in the place the filter is named after, i've always wondered this.
i've asked in global chat a few times but nobody knew, so i guess i have to ask here :P

  Maybe because it is blue and Chilliwack has "chilli" in it? I don't know much at all about Chilliwack.
