Musical Trees in Ding A Lingers

There are some musical trees in Ding A Lingers.

I'm wondering if they might work in a similar fashion to the icicles in Lotha Harte. Despite having played lots of musical variations with the trees, so far I haven't had any luck in making anything happen.

Anyone have any luck with this?

Maybe the Owl's eyes light up when the right sequence is played?

Or maybe they are just fun musical trees for Glitchen to make music together. Please have a go and if you learn something give us some clues.

(On a side note, unsubstantiated rumors suggest that Kukubee proposed renaming this street Dong A Longers. Unsubstantiated.)

  • I thought it sounded like it could make the 'close encounters of the third kind' note sequence.  But I can only get the first 2 notes and the last note of it :)  So guess not.

  • I can't quite get it right, but I can play certain parts of the groddle theme with them. Hmmm...

  • Yeah a few recognizable melodies are almost but not quite there.

Maybe sometimes an icicle is just a icicle.

  • Am I the only one here old enough to remember the song My Ding-a Ling?  The Dongs in this are a given.
