Senor Funpickle Auction

As a result of the amazing response to this thread, I have a funpickle (aka Special Item That Only Beta Testers Get) to auction. All proceeds will go directly to my friend, who -- not realizing how valuable it was -- recently sold his funpickle via tower SDB for 10k.

This auction will run for 24 hours -- closing at 7 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 3.

Please leave bids here rather than using in-game IMs or mail. Currants only, please!

Thanks for your interest, and huge thanks to HitGirl for her generous pickle donation.

Edited to add: All bids should be placed with the assumption that this pickle has already dropped its GNG.

  • 5.5 million if it still has the GNG, if you can"t guarentee, my bid is off.

  • Mokta, Sirentist is not the original owner and so has no way of knowing whether this fine, fine pickle has given its GNG.

I would guess that by this point most, if not all, pickles have already spit out their GNG. You can always buy it and hope though :)

  • i realise what you are saying, therefore my bid stays at 4.8M wich is currently surpassed.

Congrats to the winner of this fine Funpickle :)

  • Tribeca is correct -- I cannot guarantee that this pickle still has its GNG. All bids should be placed with the assumption that it is a GNG-less pickle.

Thanks for bringing this up, Mokta; I'll add the information to the original post.

  • Winding down -- about half an hour left before this closes down.

And I will not get distracted and forget to check back. I will not get distracted and forget to check back. I will not get distracted and forget to check back.

  • Ha, done with sighing and growling, got it! I'm keeping him safe in the fridge, you wouldn't believe the smell that comes from a year old pickle ;)

  • Ooh no! Did I do it wrong?

I thought it was clear that it was a rough estimate when I said it was going to be about another half hour. I did stop the auction at exactly 7 pm Eastern Time as I explained in the original post -- I really did! I was totally GLUED to the clock on my computer, and I even made sure my computer time was set to automatically check with some magic clock in the sky that keeps perfect time.

I'm sorry I wasn't clearer when I checked in at around half past six. I'll remember in the future to be more exact about this sort of thing!

Actually, next time I'll do it differently, so if people want to get in a bidding war they can do so at the end without the clock shutting it down.
