Heh! I've got my Gnome saying "Glitches are just Glitches, they shouldn't make you nervoous, Glitches are just Gltches like you"
I'm ecletic, I listen to whatever suits my mood and it's a WIDE variety of stuff I like. Currently I've been on an Electronica kick so I've got Emancipator, The Glitch Mob, Daft Punk, deadmau5, DJ Shadow, Pendulum among others.
I could give you a huge long list of artists, but I would say, as far as not very well known bands go, there's Beast and Fair to Midland and some That Handsome Devil too. Well, at least, i don't know too many people who listen to those guys.
You can try Spotify radio if you've got Spotify, or, you can also try Grooveshark as well and look at "Similar artists to..."
I am recommending Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros to EVERYONE these days, having listened to the album (Up From Below) several times during a road trip over the holidays and having fallen utterly in love.
Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks
Broken Bells
LCD Soundsystem
Kruder & Dorfmeister (The K & D sessions)
Animal Collective (Merriweather Post Pavilion)
Yeasayer (Odd Blood)
Let me know if you need more, but you _will_ like one of the above.
For starters, I recommend Bonnie "Prince" Billy/Will Oldham, Sam Amidon (who i heard via a Glitch pal, oscarette & am loving), Julie Doiron (especially her last 2 albums & the collaboration with Mount Eerie <3), Townes Van Zandt, Songs Ohia/Magnolia Electric Co., Tara Jane O'Neil, Scout Niblett & Smog. Hope you enjoy some of it, if you're not familiar with them already!
Also I love Frank Zappa and try to make everyone listen to him but to be fair he isn't the most easy to listen to dude in the world, takes a few listens to get into his eccentric music.
Sara Widenfil (last two albums are great)
The Red Ships ("Fourth Coming")
Tyre + Wheel ("Kane's Journey")
Mack Bolan and The Executioners (anything)
The Irvington Orchestra ("A Night at the Doblin")
