Learning to help reduce unkindness and disruptiveness, and counteract their effects

I'd like to exchange ideas and experiences with anyone else who is trying to learn better ways to reduce unkindness and disruptiveness, and counteract their effects.

Some ideas from other threads:

1. Friendly responses to people who are being treated unkindly.

2. Naming unkindness and disruptiveness for what they are.

3. Strictly abstaining from unkindness and disruptiveness.

That's all that comes to mind for now.

I have already seen some amazing and wonderful results from people doing those three things.

  • I think you should add forgiveness and tolerance, that is vital to carry on with those values

  • Right on target, Destructo!

I've preached against excusing unkindness by casting people as villains, and I've been doing precisely that.

I need to stop and do some practicing, before I do any more preaching.

Also, listening attentively and waiting to respond until you're calm.
