I've gotten them, you just have to wait for your "pooped" to run out so you can jump properly..which only works if you don't die near the new day!

Oh, I thought "pooped" always lasted until the new day!

My exploration wasn't a complete failure, at least. I did find some new items that spawn around hell thanks to the zoom feature, and with that handy drag/drop I snagged some beer, special sauce, and a taco that were way out of reach. :)

Well NOW it makes sense :D
