API

I see there's a (small) Glitch API.

Are we allowed to use it? How do I get a client_id?

I'm not sure where to get my hands on it, it's probably still in development.

  • There are mentions of API and client_id here: alpha.glitch.com/forum/gene...

  • "We'll turn some attention to it - probably in January."

Thanks for the link, Hburger. :)

  • Ah thanks for the pointer. Shame there's no client ids available yet - the christmas holiday would have been a good opportunity to play around a little.

  • You can still play around with some of the API right now even without a client_id, but it will only work for your own user.

Has anyone else started playing around with this much yet? If so, what programming languages are you using?

  • @Cainuable: JavaServer pages as well, or just Java?

  • @Roxon: Yep, JSPs and other JavaEE stuff as well as standard Java Apps. Currently Playing around with Android's variation of Java and figured it might be a good place to also play with Glitch's API.

  • @Cainunable: Interesting. I don't really know much about Java. =\
