Are survey results counted?

After clicking 'Save and exit' in-game, a three question survey pops up. Just wondering, as a question to the devs - are the results tallied up & count towards something? Or is the survey just there for decoration?

• I think they could be used to measure how the latest release is going. I'm usually quite positive in my answers but if the latest session has been buggy, confusing or frustrating then I tend to drop more towards neutral replies.
  
  When the game goes into beta and beyond I figure those questions will change often to test new ideas and gauge reactions to the latest game updates.
