It's based on ideas from my favourite favourite children's book from when I was little, by the way: Mr Meebles, by Jack Kent. That stuff's some deep philosophy for six-year-olds, no doubt about it.
Oh! I don't want things to give people *bad* feelings, not ever! The premise of the book, if this helps, is that once things are given the tools to become their OWN idea, they can exist without anyone having to remember they exist - they remember themselves. It's very empowering.
That is the kind of direction the story of the Mabbites was going to go. Not any more though, obvs. :)
@annapeee Anyway, I just love (loved?) all the clever and hilarious texts here in the Glitch - and since I am not a native speaker, obviously I didn't properly get all of it.:)
But still, clever texts were one of the things I really really enjoyed here, thanks!
@Berry - if you're worrying it was an omen or a portent of the closing game, don't! It was written... Lem's teeth, I can't remember - about a year ago? Possibly more like 18 months+...
@nekomaki - thank you! Don't worry, I'm sure you didn't miss much, a lot of it was more silly than clever…
