Favourite way to earn currants?

Getting ready for today's test, I'd like to know your thoughts on what you think is the fastest way to earn currants? I'm thinking mining?
Can you sell elements by the way? And mined rocks? I am still a n00b :3

• Selling special items to vendors can raise cash. But you may have to have enhanced mining or harvesting skills to get those easily. Endlessly making sandwiches and selling those can be fruitful too, if a tad boring.

• mining is the easiest way. if you have the all the mining skills and a bunch of generic bags to increase carrying capacity you can easily make over 10k in a 10 minute run. mediation helps. earthshaker drinks help.
  
  just mine shiny and sell all the chunks and gems to a vendor.
