New items: tools or not?

Not so much an idea as topic for minor debate: should some of the new items that do things* be considered tools (and thus be able to go into a toolbox) or not.

* Notably conch (sidenote: why no encyclopedia link for this yet?) and play cube.

• I think this is stretching the definition of tool a bit. Would you call a RL trumpet a tool? I don't think you would. This is Glitch where dairy comes from butterflies so RL analogies don't work in many ways. Even so I wouldn't call a conch a tool
  
  However I dislike Tool Boxes which I find too limiting. As I do all the specialist containers such as the Spice Rack. So I don't use them (except for the Elemental Pouch as elements will not go in Bigger Bags.
  
  So rather than your idea I would prefer being able to label a Bigger Bag as for tools, as I can already for cards, keys etc. You could then put the conch in manually, as a one off as the Bigger bag wouldn't reject the 'wrong' item like a Tool Box does

• @Irenic: Ask Dizzy Gillespie if the trumpet is a tool.
