errors/mistakes in eating objects...examining output?!?

at least twice , in error, i ate when i wanted to examine at a buy/sell, once it was a ruby!!!

i wish i could get it back....wait until the next movement then separate out the good spuff i ate in error.

any suggestions other than be more careful?
