How do you feed them? Dont they need actual access to a feeder?

The feeders and collectors are down on the first floor. That way I never have to actually look at or interact with the little ham factories unless I forget to fill the feeders and they get withholdy about the meat. That's when I go upstairs and jump up on the table and pet/nibble in a SUPER EFFICIENT fashion, since they never get out of order. It also makes collecting plops really easy, too.
