Glitch HQ for Android: notification vibrate is WAY too long

When I get a push notification on my Android phone, the vibration pattern is really long.  It's like a long buzz, then a few short ones, then a long one again and the only solution is to disable push notifications completely.  Not sure if this is just my model or across the board.

I'm using a Samsung Droid Charge.

  • I have Droid Charge too and the vibrate seems endless.  I really don't need it at all.  I love my notifications but really am not desperate to know and have this endless vibrations.  I may just disable notifications if I can.  I can't think of anything short of Relaunch that is worth this.

  • I'm using a Motorola Droid, and the vibration seems to be a normal length to me. Maybe it's a model-specific bug?

  • Yeah, I just disabled notifications for now.  I get emails when things happen anyway, so I'm not missing out on much.  I'd just prefer to go with the app notifications, then I can stop getting emails.
